This balsamic vinaigrette is amazing! It’s absolutely delicious and doesn’t even have any added sugars! How great is that!
I found the original recipe in the book Grain Brain by David Perlmutter, MD. While Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis made me not want to feed my family wheat, Grain Brain has really motivated me to cut out sugars. I was already gluten-free before reading either of these books, but that’s a story for another day.
Tossed salads are a great way of getting lots of raw vegetables into our diets. I usually eat a big one for lunch and a smaller one with my dinner. I find it easiest to chop up enough vegetables to last for a few days when I first get them. Putting them together with some boxed, washed, organic leafy greens and this dressing leaves no excuse for not eating salads!
