Easy Maple Orange Fried Salmon Fillets are moist fish glazed in a sweet citrusy sauce topped off with a sprinkle of green onion.
Easy Maple Orange Fried Salmon Fillets is my go-to quick and easy dinner recipe. I stock up on frozen salmon when it’s on sale and usually have some in the freezer. Whenever I’m pressed for time or haven’t planned ahead enough, the fish will thaw quickly and cook up even faster! Just make up some rice and a tossed salad or stir-fried broccoli to go with it, and you’ll have an impressive meal in half an hour!
I don’t know where this recipe originally came from. I’ve been using it for years. It wasn’t exactly a recipe – just a few ingredients scratched out on a scrap of paper really. No quantities were listed. At some point, I had transferred the information I had to a recipe program on my old computer where I stored recipes in pre-Pinterest days. Honestly, this is one of the few recipes I had been making without measuring. However, to help you get the best results, I’ve worked out exact amounts of the ingredients and double checked my cooking instructions.
ELIMINATION DIET MEAL PLAN
As I prepare salmon for this blog post, it just so happens that the Meal Plan for the Elimination Diet we’re following right now specifies a salmon dish for dinner tonight. While that recipe looks awesome, and I must try it sometime, I’ll substitute my own tried and true one tonight. The ingredients comply with this stage of the diet, so we’re good! The Elimination Diet Meal Plan is nice that way. The Meal Plan lays out every meal and snack for the entire duration of the diet in wonderful detail. It also includes comprehensive shopping lists. However, these are to help you rather than restrict you. You can makes changes within the guidelines if you want to. One day, when something unexpected came up and I didn’t have time to make dinner, we had enough leftovers in the fridge from the previous days to do nicely.
Salmon is rich in Omege-3 fatty acids and is a great source of protein. I buy wild Pacific salmon.
