Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 300 F.
  2. Line a 5″ X 9″ loaf pan with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter and allow to cool.
  4. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  5. Stir in the fruits and nuts.
  6. Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, orange juice, molasses, and butter. Beat until blended. Stir into fruit mixture.
  7. Turn into prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until it tests done. Cool thoroughly on a wire rack.
  8. Remove from pans and parchment. Wrap in fruit juice moistened cheesecloth. Overwrap with foil. Store in refrigerator 3 – 4 weeks before serving. Remoisten cheesecloth once a week.
